The Lab Director issues call for FY27 proposals (SLAC login will be required)

Letters of intent submitted to the LDRD program through the online form.

New proposals including budget documents submitted to the LDRD program

New LDRD proposals distributed for technical external peer review

Lead Investigators present proposed projects within panels of SLAC/Stanford U. reviewers

The Lab Director and Senior Management Team’s Science and Technology Subcommittee discuss and prioritize projects

The Lab Director selects and notifies new LDRD awardees, as well as approved ongoing LDRD projects of their approved FY27 budgets

Lead Investigators of new projects, new Panofsky Fellows, and Business Managers/Financial Analysts meet with the Office of Strategic Planning to discuss deliverables and activities

Lead Investigators submit a mid-year status report with progress to-date and funding request for next fiscal year when applicable by completing a Mission Investment request

Lead Investigators submit annual reports to the LDRD program

Projects completed in the last 5 years will be sent a DOE mandated post-completion survey. For the five years following project completion, the survey must be filled out and returned annually
