The Lab Director issues call for FY25 proposals (SLAC login required)

Letters of intent submitted to the LDRD program through the online form (closed)

New proposals including budget documents submitted to the LDRD program

New LDRD proposals distributed for technical peer review

Lead Investigators present proposed projects within panels of SLAC/Stanford U. reviewers

The Lab Director and Senior Management Team’s Science and Technology Subcommittee discuss and prioritize projects

The Lab Director selects and notifies new LDRD awardees, as well as approved ongoing LDRD projects of their approved FY25 budgets

Lead Investigators of new projects, new Panofsky Fellows, and Business Managers/Financial Analysts meet with the Office of Stategic Planning to discuss deliverables and activities

Lead Investigators submit mid-year status report with technical progress to-date and plan for next fiscal year when applicable. For projects continuing into FY25, a corresponding Mission Investment request is submitted to the Budget Office through the Directorate's Business Office

Lab Director and ALDs to review progress of ongoing LDRD projects and FY25 mission investment requests

Lead Investigators submit annual report to the LDRD program

Projects completed in FY19-FY24 will be sent a DOE mandated post-completion survey. For the five years following project completion, the survey must be filled out and returned annually
